With a name like the Community Environmental Legal Defense Fund (CELDF), it’s assumed there are lawyers involved, but these aren’t your everyday, conventional, in-the-box attorneys. In fact they are just the opposite. We’ve often wondered how these folks came to do the work of putting people over corporations when corporations have been given greater access to influence the shift in power.
On Wednesday, September 29th at 8pm ET and 5pm PT, we’ll be speaking to the CELDF attorneys who do the work of elevating people and nature in the eyes of the law. What motivates a professional to use their education and skills for an endeavor that requires a different view of rights under the law? How did they train? How do they view their role? What exactly is required of them? And, most interesting, who are they as people?
We’re honored to have Karen Hoffman, Kira Kelly, Terry Lodge and Lindsey Schromen-Wawrin … and you, join us in
